Racing at the Regatta

The 109th annual Ephraim Regatta will take place Aug. 1 – 3. This year’s regatta will be one of the largest Flying Scot regattas in the United States, and will feature two parties.

Racers should register and pay by July 27 in order to receive a $10 early registration discount. Discounts are also available for skippers 18 and below ($15) and for U.S. Sailing members ($5). To view the Notice of Race and to register, go to eyc.org/racing.

The Regatta Welcome Party will take place on Aug. 1, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Olga Dana Green (the park across the street from the EYC). All EYC members and friends, and regatta competitors and their families, are invited to this casual party. Admission is $10/ages 11 and up and $5/age 10 and under. Soft drinks are included in admission price/BYO adult beverage.

Racing beings at 11 am Saturday and 10 am Sunday. Spectators are encouraged to watch from the EYC’s pier and on the water. Waterborne spectators, please observe good race spectator etiquette.

The brat fest, hosted by the Klein family, starts at 6 pm, Aug. 2, with admission at $13/adults, $6/children 11 and below, free/ages 5 and under. Held at 3282 Gibraltar Road, Fish Creek. Look for the flags on the side of the road.

Volunteers are needed to drive safety boats, tow boats, and to serve on mark boats and other race committee boats. If you would like to volunteer contact [email protected]
