Raising the Green at Ellison Bay Pottery

March is Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Awareness Month and Ellison Bay Pottery will be hosting their “Raising the Green” open house on March 18 from 12 – 4 pm. During the month of March the pottery shop will donate a percent of each sale to the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin.

A traumatic brain injury or concussion is a more serious injury than many people are aware of and can affect people far longer than previously thought. Children are particularly at risk, as well as returning veterans and those involved in seemingly minor accidents. Because this injury has touched the shop owners’ family, they decided to focus on TBI Awareness in March for their 2012 Fundraising Project.

Those who wear green or bring a friend during the event will receive a free gift. Refreshments will be available.
