Raptors and Wreaths at The Ridges

Have you ever met an owl face to face? What about a hawk? A falcon? Meet some of Wisconsin’s common but rarely encountered birds on Oct. 22 at 10 am. Discover what a raptor is, hear their stories and learn what you can do to ensure they remain a significant part of the ecosystem. Advanced registration recommended. This program is held at the Cook-Albert Fuller Center. The fee is $10 members, $13 public, and $5 for kids under 18.

On Oct. 22 at 1-4 pm, stop in for a fall wreath workshop where an instructor will show participants how to use natural items collected from woods, fields and yards to make wreaths. Supplies will be provided. This program will be held in Kaye Cabin. The fee is $25 members, $30 public.
