Ready to Ride?

The Door County Silent Sports Alliance introduces their Community Group Cycling Rides. There are three different rides for all levels of cycling ability.

The Tuesday night ride is for advanced riders. The pace is fast, averaging 21 mph. This is a “drop ride,” meaning the group may not wait for people that fall behind, which means riders should know their way home.

Wednesday night is intermediate riding at moderated pace with distances as long as 30 to 40 miles at a pace ranging between 17-20 mph. This ride has a no-drop rule that will be observed and respected for all that wish to remain part of the group during the ride.

Thursday night is a low-tempo ride that is perfect for the entry-level rider, older riders or riders that want to have a good social ride. Speed averages range between 13-17 mph. This is also a no-drop ride, so no one will be left behind.

All rides depart at 5:30 pm from Sturgeon Bay Market Square (City Hall parking lot). To learn more about DCSSA and the events they sponsor, follow them on Facebook, visit doorcountysilentsports.org, or call 920.495.8911.
