Red Kettle Campaign Exceeds $93,000

The Salvation Army Service Extension of Door County thanks all the businesses countywide that hosted bell ringers during the 2022 Red Kettle campaign, including Al Johnson’s, Baileys 57 BP, Tadych’s Econofoods, Main Street Market, Pick ’n Save, Piggly Wiggly, Pioneer Store, Sister Bay Historical Society, Walgreens and Walmart.

Many thanks also go to the volunteers and ringers who braved the weather to set up equipment, ring the bell and deposit the proceeds. And finally, thank you to all the generous donors who filled the kettles and sent their checks.

This year’s kettle campaign raised more than $93,000 – funds that will be used in Door County for critical and emergency assistance to those in need and for several special projects, including winter wear for children and athletic shoes for kids returning to school in the fall.

Salvation Army of Door County fundraising goes on year-round. To donate, mail checks to P.O. Box 644, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235. To volunteer as a bell ringer in the fall, contact Nancy at 920.883.7886 or [email protected]. Individuals, couples, families and groups are welcome to participate.
