Redell Headlines June Poetry Reading

The featured reader at the Dickinson Poetry Series will be Jack Redell on June 8 at 7 pm.

John Patrick (Jack) Redell has been writing since his teens, but only recently has he dared call it poetry. A retired surveyor/field engineer/superintendent, he did not have the opportunity during his working years to write as much as he might have liked. He has had some work published in the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets “Museletter,” the Wisconsin Poets Calendar, the Peninsula Pulse and several collaborative chapbooks. Thinking of a chapbook of his own, he believes he is one bar napkin away from being famous. He writes about his ideas and experiences and makes up the rest.

On the second Wednesday of every month the Dickinson Poetry Series features a renowned local or regional poet followed by an open mic and reception. The public is welcome and there is no charge. The UUF is located at 10341 Hwy. 42 in north Ephraim. For more information, visit uufdc.org or call 920.854.7559.
