Reel ‘Em In

Anglers are invited to take part in the Baileys Harbor Brown Trout Tournament, held April 25 – 27. Participants can fish in both Door and Kewaunee county waters on the bay and lake side. Fish can be caught from a boat, through the ice or from the shore.

Weigh-in stations will be located at the Baileys Harbor Fire Station and Howie’s Tackle in Sturgeon Bay. This year Cal Marine is a major sponsor, and they will put on a boat show at the Baileys Harbor weigh-in station. The Baileys Harbor Athletics Club will also be at this weigh-in station to serve food and drinks throughout the weekend.

There is more than $7,000 in prizes to be won and tickets are only $25. This tournament pays out to the top 40 fish weighed in. The angler with the first place fish wins a $1,500 prize package including $600 in cash, a $200 mounting certificate, and a Door County vacation package for four.
