Registration Open for Sept. 23 Hey Hey 5k

The Hey Hey 5k, presented by Door County Brewing Co., returns to Baileys Harbor on Sept. 23. Registration is now open.

This race is all about having fun in classic Door County style. Runners get an awesome race shirt, free Hey Hey 5k pint glass and the first fill in the glass free from Door County Brewing Co. to celebrate the finish in the taproom. Take advantage of early-bird registration prices.

The Hey Hey 5k is named for one of the favorite sayings of Baileys Harbor character Freddie Kodanko, the late Polka King who also inspired the name of one of Door County Brewing Co.’s signature beers, the Polka King Porter. Freddie loved his polka, loved to laugh, and loved a good time.

The race is brought to you by the Peninsula Pacers, creators of the Door County Half Marathon, Door County Beer Festival, Door County Pond Hockey Tournament, and the Peninsula Century bicycle rides.
