Registration Opens for Crossroads Run

Registration is now open for the ninth annual Crossroads Trail Run/Walk  2k, 5k, 10k on June 23. The trail run takes place on a 200-acre preserve at Crossroads at Big Creek Learning Preserve in Sturgeon Bay. This chip-timed event is for all ages, all levels of runners and walkers, and a great family event.

Every participant will receive a high-performance t-shirt. As each participant crosses the finish line, they will receive a tree donated by Evergreen Nursery. Post-run refreshments include Door County sundaes with ice cream from Schopf’s Dairy topped with cherries from Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market and locally baked granola.

Local awards for the 5k and 10k races include handcrafted bowls by local ceramic artist Liz Butler, maple syrup from Henschel’s Farm, golden honey from Max & Dee’s Honeybees and Bea’s Ho-Made chopped cherry jam. Youth awards will be announced soon.

This event is part of the Run The Door series. Go to CrossroadsRun.com to register.
