Restore collecting e-waste

• The Sister Bay Bayshore Oversight Committee will meet Aug. 29 at the fire station at 5:30 pm. The committee will meet with representatives from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a to get an update on the department’s Highway 42 resurfacing schedule.

• The comment period for Phase two of the International Upper Great Lakes Study is open through Aug. 31. Comments can be submitted through a form on the study committee’s website at http://www.iugls.org. Phase two of the study investigated options to bring water levels in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron up by installing structures in the St. Clair River.

• Sevastopol Schools annual meeting will be held Aug. 23 at 6:30 pm.

• Habitat for Humanity’s Restore is now collecting e-waste. You can drop off old electronics such as laptops, monitors, printers, and TVs at the store at 410 North 14th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay Thursday through Saturday. The fee for dropping off electronics is just $5 per item.
