Restoring Chief Roy’s Mini-bowl

The Oneida Longhouse Singers and Dancers opened the first season of regular performances since Chief Roy Oshkosh in the mini-bowl behind Chief Oshkosh Native American Arts in Egg Harbor on Wednesday, July 9.

Performances will be held through mid-August every Wednesday and Saturday night, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm.

Owner Coleen Bins hopes to restore the mini-bowl with seating and regular performances to share Native American culture.

“We’re more than mascots and bows and arrows,” she said.

Chief Oshkosh Native American Arts is located at 7631 Hwy 42, Egg Harbor.
