Rev. Daphne Cody Visits Church of Atonement

The Rev. Daphne Cody, rector of St. Elisabeth’s Episcopal Church, Glencoe, Ill., will lead a session titled “You Guys Have Three Gods” at 7 pm on June 11 at the Church of the Atonement, Fish Creek. Cody calls the event a “midweek study session” in preparation for Trinity Sunday. “To other monotheists like Jews and Muslims,” she says, “Christians seem to have three gods. But we know we only have one. Does our Bible help us out with an informed response? What’s the best way to explain the Trinity to non-Christians (or even to ourselves)?”
