Rev. Scott Stoner Visits Church of the Atonement on Aug. 10

The Rev. Scott Stoner, a priest, psychotherapist and spiritual director, will speak at 7 pm on Aug. 10 at Church of the Atonement in Fish Creek. His topic is “Biblical Views of Healing, Wholeness and Wellness.”

“Healing is central to the ministry of Jesus, and yet is either misunderstood or rarely talked about in the church today,” he says. “Join us for a lively discussion of how Biblical views of healing are still relevant for us today in the 21st century.”

Stoner has been involved in ministries of healing for 35 years as an Episcopal priest, spiritual director, retreat leader and marriage and family therapist. He now serves as the founder and director of Living Compass, a national faith and wellness ministry.

The church is located at Main St. and Cottage Row. For more information visit atonement-fishcreek.org.
