It’s open enrollment season for Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plans, and Richard Price of Price Financial Group can offer some tips during the open enrollment season. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the government agency responsible for Medicare, recommends that people in a Medicare health or prescription drug plan should always review the material their plan sends them such as the “Annual Notice of Change” (ANOC). The ANOC letter will explain any changes being made to your current plan for the upcoming plan year.

Price notes that if you’re happy with your current Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plans, you don’t have to do anything. But, he adds, “Even if you’re happy with your current plan, it might be wise to comparison shop. New plans are introduced, while some are changed or even dropped.”
