Ride the Algoma Art Wave

The Algoma Art Wave will take place the second Friday of each month from 5 – 8 pm. During the event, a variety of Algoma artists and venues will open to the public. Upcoming dates include Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.

The following artists and venues will participate.

• Bren Sibilsky is an internationally recognized artist whose current focus is sculpture in the style of classical realism with emotional undertones. Visit her studio at E5977 Fremont Road and her website at http://www.brensculpture.com.

• Clay on Steele was established in 2004 as a working pottery studio, gallery, and education center. The center is a place where people gather, relax, and explore their creative side. The center is located at 221 Steele Street. For more information, visit http://www.clayonsteele.com.

• Caffe Tlazo is an eatery that is currently hosting local artist Donald R. Randall for their Fall Tlazo Artist Series. Randall’s work ranges from tightly rendered pen and ink drawings to whimsical watercolor illustrations. Located at 607 4th St. (Hwy 42). Visit their website at http://www.caffetlazo.com.

• The Eclipse Gallery is a contemporary art gallery and handmade design shop. The gallery is currently showing “Salon 100,” an exhibit displaying a wide variety of artwork priced at $100 each. • Kawaunee Academy of Fine Art will display students’ drawings, paintings, and sculptures. The school is located at 77 Steele Street. For more information visit http://www.kewauneeacademy.com.
