Road Scholar Caregiver Grants Open to Wisconsin Residents

Thanks to the support of the Helen Daniels Bader Fund, a Bader Philanthropy and one of southeastern Wisconsin’s top five foundations, Road Scholar is now able to offer Caregiver Grants just for Wisconsin residents. Road Scholar will award 20 grants of up to $1,300 each to family caregivers, age 50 and older, who live in Wisconsin. These grants can be applied to learning adventures in the United States.

Caregivers who live in Wisconsin and are 50 years of age or older are eligible if they meet one of these requirements: they are a primary caregiver providing a wide range of unpaid care to a dependent relative with an illness or disability; their loved one is receiving home care, hospice, visiting nurse, LPN services, or comparable or related services; their loved one is in hospice, adult day care, memory-care, nursing home or a comparable or related facility; they lost a loved one within the past two years who was in any of these caregiving situations.
