Robert Kufrin, Sister Bay Village Administrator, announced his retirement on Monday, April 9. His last day is scheduled for June 28.
“I really like my job, I really like all the people I work with – the board, the trustees, the committees, the community,” Kufrin said. “I decided I want to spend more time with my wife and my family doing things instead of going to meetings.”
The village board created a committee of Village President Denise Bhirdo and trustees Dave Lienau and Patrick Duffy to fill the open position. Until a new person is hired, Kufrin will continue working as a consultant to help with big projects like beach renovation and burying power lines.
