Rock, Reggae Soundtrack for Pumpkin Patch Weekend

The shore will be rocking in Egg Harbor during Pumpkin Patch Festival weekend. Alpine Resort will host three great bands at Rocktoberfest Oct. 7-9 in its outdoor tent.

First up is a local favorite, Unity The Band, playing Friday night. The award-winning original roots-rock and reggae group will treat fans to old roots, rock and reggae favorites, along with original music blending influences of roots, rock, blues, funk and reggae.

On Oct. 8, the Midwest’s premier classic-rock band, Conscious Pilot, will take the stage, followed by the Vic Ferrari band Sunday night. Vic Ferrari will be playing one of the last shows in a 35-year, 2,500-show run that has taken the group to 10 countries and 25 states.

All shows are free and run 6:30-10 pm.

At One Barrel Brewing Company, reggae is the theme of the day Saturday. Bob Bero plays Friday and Sunday on the patio stage. Jeremia Jams will take the lead Saturday midday, then Unity The Band plays its second big show of the weekend, 3-6 pm on Saturday.

Down at Harbor View Park, the center of Pumpkin Patch festivities will feature a variety of music all weekend long. Modern Day Drifters kick it off Saturday, 10 am – 2 pm, followed by the Mango Brothers, 2:30-6 pm.

Then on Sunday it’s a Big Mouth kind of day, with the core band playing in the park, 10 am – 1 pm, and the Power Tool Horns joining in to rock you to the finish line of Egg Harbor’s big blowout weekend.
