Rockers and Rollers Drill Team at Maifest

The 4-H Rockers and Rollers Drill Team – a group of eight to 10 riders, plus their horses, coach and parents – will participate in the Maifest (jacksonport.org/maifest) parade on May 25 in Jacksonport. They will do-si-do, circle and complete maneuvers, entertaining the crowd along the parade route.

Some of their horses will provide rides in a fenced area in Lakeside Park, 12-3 pm, and drill-team members will assist riders. On May 26, the drill team will perform its 10-minute Maifest exhibition: a competition performance choreographed to music by coach Faye Bley. The performance is included with the horse-pull tickets at the Jacksonport baseball field.
