Rogue Offers Virtual Theater Camp

Rogue Theater will host a Virtual Theater Camp for ages nine through 15 to provide family fun and creativity. Although the director will be available for guidance, it’s up to the actors to create their own scenes, including props and costumes, using items found at home. Not only will students learn theatrical skills, but this format will also allow them to experience new technology and learn video-production basics.

This three-week camp consists of a minimum of two virtual class sessions per week. One large-group session will focus on the basics of acting and drama games. Small-group sessions will focus on enhancing the actors’ performances and show details.

To participate, students must have WiFi and access to a device because sessions will use Zoom conferencing. The Virtual Theater Camp will be  held Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 23 – July 9, 10 am – 12 pm. The final performance will be videotaped and shared on Rogue Theater’s YouTube Channel.

The cost of the camp is $20 per person, and it’s limited to 20 students. To learn more and register, call 920.818.0816 or email [email protected].
