Rogue Theater will present The Savannah Sipping Society Oct. 8-17. In this delightful comedy, four Southern women – all seeking to escape the burdens of their lives – are drawn together by fate and an impromptu happy hour. They decide it’s high time to reclaim their enthusiasm for life.
Randa (Lola DeVillers), a perfectionist and workaholic, is struggling with a career derailment. Dot (Pamela Johnson) is reeling from her husband’s recent demise and the loss of their idyllic retirement plans. Marlafaye (Lori Wier), a good ol’ Texas gal, has blasted into Savannah after losing her cheating husband. And Jinx (Jamie Buesing), a spunky spitfire, offers her life-coaching services while trying to get her own life on track.
Rogue Theater will perform the show at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall, 2392 Cty F, on Fridays and Saturdays, 7:30 pm; and Sundays, 2 pm. Purchase tickets ($15 per adult, $10 per student) at roguetheater.org or by calling 920.818.0816.
