Rogue Theater Announces Contest Winners at April 22 Show

In January, Rogue Theater announced a murder mystery playwriters contest to community writers, encouraging all its patrons to practice their writing skills and submit their stories. The winner would get their own murder mystery produced and brought to the stage.

Rogue Theater was thrilled with the play submissions they received. Each play offered mystery, humor and a bit of suspense. From the several entries submitted, four finalists have been selected. The authors include Tim Toepel with Murder at Al Johnson’s, Stanley B. Eisenhammer with Murder on Cottage Row, The Beloved Songbirds by R.M. Hunt, and The Dancing Men by Tonie Bear and Ian Toyne.

On April 22, Rogue Theater will announce the contest winner. This will take place after the 2 pm performance of Eat, Drink and Be Murdered at Rogue’s theater at 340 Jaycee Ct. in Sturgeon Bay. The public is encouraged to come see the show and talk with the writers after the performance. For more information, call 920.818.0816 or email [email protected]
