Rogue Theater Announces March Mystery Dinner Show Dates

Get out your lucky hat, because Rogue Theater is about to unveil a mystery dinner show that spoofs the movie Casablanca and the American dream of winning the jackpot.

Penned by Tony Schwartz and Marylou Ambrose, Dealt a Deadly Hand: Murder at the Pocono Royale Casino, takes place at Rick’s club, the first legal gambling casino in the Poconos, or Sturgeon Bay, or Fish Creek. Rick dreams of striking it rich – then two crafty Native Americans try to claim the land and his gold-digging ex-wife Lola shows up. Throw in a two-faced lawyer, an Australian Croc Chaser with bad luck, and two little old ladies on a gambling mission, and “making a killing” takes on a whole new meaning.

Keep your eyes and ears open, because someone will cash in his or her chips tonight, and it’s up to the audience to solve the crime. Prizes will be awarded to three people who correctly guess the murderer and motive.

Doors open at 5 pm followed by dinner at 6:30 pm. The main show starts after dinner. The curtain rises March 10 – 20 at various locations. Dinner shows are March 10: Alexander’s, Fish Creek; March 11: Inn at Cedar Crossing, Sturgeon Bay; March 17: Wave Pointe Marina in Little Sturgeon; March 18: Sonny’s Pizzeria, Sturgeon Bay; and March 19: Lodge at Leathem Smith, Sturgeon Bay. The cast will also perform a show only March 20 at Rogue Theater, 2 pm.

Dinner shows tickets include show, dinner, tax and tip. Contact individual restaurants for reservations. For information and locations, contact Rogue Theater at 920.818.0816 or follow their Facebook page.
