Rogue Theater Brings Back Third Round of “Golden Age of Comedy”

Rogue Theater has had such overwhelming response to its presentation of classic comedy sketches that they’re bringing it back for a third round. The Golden Age of Comedy 3 brings audiences the third edition of classic comedy with all new comedy sketches from TV shows of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Archie Campbell, Bob Newhart, Lily Tomlin, Jack Benny, Minnie Pearl, and so many other television comedy greats will come to life on stage at two great venues.

Rogue Theater’s artistic director Stuart Champeau selected the wide cross-section of skits from a multitude of comedy variety shows. In just one act, The Golden Age of Comedy 3 compiles 10 sketches featuring some of the great comedic artists of the past: Conway as the Old Doctor, Lawrence as Mama, Burnett as Eunice, Tomlin as Ernestine.

The cast includes Champeau, Lola DeVillers, Dan Sallinen, Keri Grimsley, Elliot Vanness, Michelle Reinhard and David Clowers.
