Rogue Theater Kicks Off Murder-Mystery Dinner Tour

The pandemic put Rogue Theater’s dinner-theater shows on pause, but now they’ve returned with The Case of the Mysterious Cravat: An Inspector Giles Murder Mystery. Shows will take place at several Door County restaurants during March and April.

Stuart Champeau directs this play within a play. The internal play is set in a venerable British country house where the actors are performing in a show written by one of their colleagues. Each has secrets, and one will be murdered. The real actors must rely on their day jobs to help them solve the mystery, with willing audience members playing eyewitnesses, medical professionals and hired help.

Shows are scheduled for March 17, 5:30 pm, at CHOP in Sister Bay (tickets are $40); March 30, 6 pm, at Samuelson’s Creek in Sturgeon Bay ($40); March 31, 6 pm, at The Log Den in Egg Harbor ($55); April 1, 6:30 pm, at Drömhus in Sturgeon Bay ($35); April 12, 6 pm, at Wave Pointe Marina in Sturgeon Bay ($35); and April 15, 6 pm, at The Lodge at Leathem Smith in Sturgeon Bay ($40).

Ticket prices include the show, dinner, tax and tip. Call the individual venues to reserve your spot (reservations are required). Find out more at roguetheater.org or by calling 920.818.0816.
