Rogue Theater Offers Children’s Theater Camp

Rogue Theater is offering a summer Children’s Theater Camp for the sixth year. Many students keep coming back, and several have performed in Rogue’s adult productions.

Rogue’s dedicated performing artists work with young people to develop their theater-arts skills and increase their creativity through theater games and exercises that stretch the voice, body and mind. Open scenes and improvisation will help students to embody a character, identify obstacles and work to achieve an objective.

The theater camp is for ages nine through 15. It will run June 18 – July 11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 am – 2 pm, at the Prince of Peace Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. The final class will be held July 13, with the students presenting a public performance.

The program is $70 for new students and $60 for returning students. To learn more or register, call 920.818.0816 or email [email protected].
