Rogue Theater Presents ‘Golden Age of Comedy’

Rogue Theater brings back the days when family television was king with The Golden Age of Comedy.  Lucille Ball, Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett, Harvey Corman, Tim Conway, Lily Tomlin, Minnie Pearl and more, come to life on the Rogue Theater Drive-In stage.

In just one act, The Golden Age of Comedy compiles multiple sketches featuring some of the great comedic artists of the past. The cast includes Stuart Champeau, Lola DeVillers, Dan Sallinen, Keri Grimsley, Skyler Champeau, Michelle Reinhard, David Clowers and Jamie Buesing.

Rogue Theater’s Summer Drive-In Theater is held weekends during July and August in the parking lot of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay. Actors will be using microphones plugged into a radio receiver and patrons can enjoy the show from the comfort and safety of their own vehicles.

The Golden Age of Comedy will be performed July 18 and 19, 6 pm. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 students or $30 a car. All shows are weather permitting. A portion of all summer proceeds will go to local food pantries. For more information, call 920.818.0816, email [email protected] or visit facebook.com/roguetheater.
