Rogue Theater brings back the days when family television was king in The Golden Age of Comedy. Lucille Ball, Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett, Harvey Corman, Tim Conway, Lily Tomlin, Minnie Pearl and more comedians and entertainers will come to life on the Rogue Theater drive-in stage Aug. 29 and 30, 6 pm.
Artistic director Stuart Champeau has selected a wide cross section of skits from a multitude of comedy variety shows. The cast includes Champeau, Lola DeVillers, Dan Sallinen, Keri Grimsley, Skyler Champeau, Michelle Reinhard, David Clowers and Jamie Buesing.
Rogue Theater’s Drive-In Theater is held in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church’s parking lot in Sturgeon Bay. Actors will use microphones plugged into a radio receiver, so patrons can enjoy the show from their vehicles.
Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 per student or $30 per car. All shows are weather permitting. A portion of all summer proceeds will go to local food pantries.
