Rogue Theater Takes Shows on the Road

Rogue Theater will perform several shows at different locations around Sturgeon Bay in March and April. Including a murder mystery at The Lodge at Leathem Smith for Groovin’ Sisterhood Weekend on April 25, and at the soon-to-open Door County Fire Company (formerly The Ladder House).

They will perform their second Variety Show on April 4 and 5, at a location soon to be determined, and a “Songs to God” concert at Hope Church in Sturgeon Bay on April 11 and 12.

Rogue Theater co-founders Lola DeVillers and Stuart Champeau will close The Depot Performing Arts Center at 341 N. Third Avenue until the end of April, due to frozen city water laterals that are requiring them to run water 24/7. DeVillers and Champeau are thinking “green” and don’t want to waste the water and money when they can use other venues for shows.

The Depot will reopen April 26, hopefully with thawed pipes, with HELP of Door County’s production of The Vagina Monologues.

The harsh winter was problematic for many in our community, but with a little resourcefulness and some difficult decision making, Rogue Theater’s “show will go on.” They thank the community for their continued support. For information or venue support, call 920.818.0816.
