Rogue Theatre Presents “It Had To Be You” at Sister Bay Village Hall

Rogue Theatre announces their October production will be It Had To Be You by Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna. A comedy classic, the show proves that the path of true love never runs smoothly. The play tells the story of Theda Blau, a failed actress, health food nut and would-be playwright who wants to find love and success in New York, and Vito Pignoli, a hugely successful TV commercial director who is the reluctant object of her affections. By holding him hostage in her apartment on a snowy Christmas Eve, Theda somehow manages to convince Vito to be her partner both on the page and off.

Lola DeVillers plays Theda and Stuart Champeau plays Vito. Renée Kujawski directs, with assistance from Bill Bauernfeind. The show runs October 10 – 12 at 7:30 pm with a Packer-friendly performance on Oct. 13 at 4:30 pm at the Sister Bay Village Hall. Tickets are $15. For tickets or more information, call 920.818.0816.
