Rogue’s Christmas Show, Food Drive

Rogue Theater will celebrate its 10th Christmas with the humorous holiday production The Herald Angels Learn to Sing by Tracy Wells on Dec. 9, 7 pm, and Dec. 10, 2 pm, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

In the show, it’s Christmas in Herald, and there’s nothing that the residents of this small town love more than their annual Christmas pageant – except maybe their baseball team, the Herald Angels. When half the pageant’s cast comes down with laryngitis, it’s up to the beloved baseball players to save the day, but with their own invitation to play in the big-city Winter Classic on the line, will the Herald Angels step up to sing? The performance includes well-known Christmas carols and a chance for the audience to sing along.

As families gather for these holiday productions, Rogue is collecting nonperishable food items for local families in need and encourages attendees to contribute dry or canned food items. Rogue will double the donation, and all food collected will be donated to Lakeshore CAP of Door County.

Prince of Peace is located at 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. To get more details, call 920.818.0816.
