Rotary Club Aims to Improve Vocabularies

This November, the Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club will provide a dictionary for each third grade student in Door County – from Washington Island to Southern Door – for the third consecutive year.

Educators see third grade as the dividing line between learning to read and reading to learn, and the dictionaries are provided as a gift for use at home and at school.
