Rotary Clubs Present Ethics in Business Awards

The Rotary Clubs of Door County presented their inaugural Ethics in Business awards at an all community dinner at Stone Harbor Resort on Thursday, February 23, 2012. The speaker was Terry M Goode, Ph.D. on “the Business of Ethics and the Ethics of Business.”

The three clubs in the county based the awards on Rotary International’s Four-Way Test, a code of ethics created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor that has been translated into more than 100 languages. The test has become a foundation of Rotary values, is repeated in many Rotary Club meetings throughout the world, and is a lighthouse for ethical interactions.
