Rotary Scholarships Available

The Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay (RCSB) will once again award scholarships to selected graduates of the Class of 2014 from Door County high schools.

This year Rotary will award academic scholarships to students in the upper 25 percent of their high school class planning to pursue a full-time course of studies at an accredited college, university or state-operated vocational/technical school. These scholarships are worth $500 per semester for the freshman and sophomore years of college, funded by the Sturgeon Bay Noon Rotary Charitable Trust.

Applications must be filed with the Rotary Committee by March 7, and award winners will be announced on May 15 at the noon meeting of the Rotary Club.

The Muckian Vocational Scholarship is a one-time $500 award intended to assist students, regardless of class rank, who have chosen to attend a vocational or technical college or a certification program. These scholarships will be awarded at the Vocational Awards Luncheon on April 24 at the noon meeting of the Rotary Club.
