All summer long, native grasses and shrubs have been establishing their roots at Crossroads at Big Creek’s The Cove Preserve. This is thanks in part to the Sturgeon Bay Rotary Interact Club, which donated $600 it had raised throughout the year to help Crossroads with ecological restoration.
Grants from the Fund for Lake Michigan, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service also help to fund ecological restoration efforts at Crossroads.
