Ruby James Returns to Thelma Sadoff Center for Performing Arts

For the past few years, Ruby James has been rocking dance halls all across the nation as half of the duo fronting the wildly popular R&B/new vintage ensemble WiFEE and THE HUZz BAND. Prior to WiFEE, James, an established recording artist in her own right, toured the country in support of four solo albums she generated since 2007.

Appearing with full band, James will return to Thelma Sadoff Center for Performing Arts in Fond du Lac on May 19 at 8 pm to showcase material from her past releases which range from the acoustic feel of “Sweet As Sin,” “Desert Rose” and “Happy Now” to the more rocking and edgy sounds of “Voodoo Queen.”

Soulful and sweet while bold and commanding; running the gamut from Americana to blues to flat out rock-n-roll, discover the power and magic of Ruby James on her own, up-close and personal. Core band members joining her for this special performance include melaniejane (cello), Greg Roteik (bass), Zach Vogel (guitar), Matt Spatol (keys) and Rob Gay (drums).

Fans from Door County and surrounding areas are welcome to take advantage of a special rate of $35 per person, which includes round-trip private bus transportation to and from Fond du Lac (free wine and beer on the bus) as well as ticket to the show. Bus departs from Sturgeon Bay at 4:30 pm. For more information and to reserve seat online, visit RubyJames.com/Thelma.
