Run the Door Announces 2018 Events

Score points, stay healthy and have fun in 2018 by signing up for Run the Door. Sign up to score points on the Run the Door running race circuit. There are three divisions:  overall, out-of-county, and youth 12 and under. All divisions are gender free. Points are scored in each time a runner participates in the race. Points can also be scored for volunteering on behalf of the Door County Silent Sports Association at various events.

The Door County Silent Sports Alliance will keep track of points. The top 25 overall runners, top three youth runners and the top five out-of-county runners will receive distinctive  pottery awards made by Liz Butler or medals at the post-season party at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay.

The following are Run the Door events:  April 28, Southern Door Eagles Tail Trot; May 5, Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5K; May 12, Blossom Run; May 27, Maifest Run; June 2, Hog Wild Run; June 23, Crossroads Trail Run; July 4, Hairpin Run 5K; July 14, Belgian Days Run; July 28, Washington Island Rec Run; Sept. 22, Hey Hey 5K; Oct. 6, Run Wild Quarter Marathon; Oct. 20, Fall 50; Nov. 3, Door County Turkey Trot; and Nov. 10, Run the Door End of Season Party.
