Ruth Holly at Arts on the Corner

On August 31 from 11 am – 4 pm, Egg Harbor’s new gallery, Arts on the Corner, will host a creative demonstration on making purses from men’s ties by Ruth Holly.

Holly will be onsite displaying the talent that goes into her handmade purses. All of her distinctive purses are crafted from recycled men’s ties and unique jewelry. The artist adds uniqueness to her work by photographing the tie she will be using and adding the label of the tie inside the purse.

Holly is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, a mother of four and a retired RN. She can create a personalized purse with a special tie and jewelry to make an Heirloom memory.

Come see Holly at the Arts on the Corner, a newly formed boutique gallery that offers a mix of 50 plus artisans, contributing a multitude of media, from original paintings, sculpting, world class photography, glass sculptures, handmade furniture, and much more.

Arts on the Corner is located in Egg Harbor, settled on the corner of Harbor School Road and Highway 42, just south of the curve.
