Sage-ing Workshop Nov. 7 & 8 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

Sage-ing International is offering a workshop to introduce the concepts of sage-ing and conscious eldering. This workshop seeks to facilitate personal spiritual awakening as we move through our elder years and is not specific to any religious denomination. The six-hour workshop will be held during two three-hour sessions Nov. 7 and 8, 1-4 pm each day, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County in north Ephraim.

Door County has one of the state’s most concentrated sets of individuals older than 65, which highlights the need to facilitate the growth of strong and wise elders. Sage-ing offers a paradigm for living one’s elder years more consciously, joyfully and compassionately.

Early registration is encouraged because this program is limited to 18 participants. The cost of $45 for both afternoons includes light snacks and all program materials. Trish Black, a certified sage-ing leader through Sage-ing International, will facilitate. To learn more or register, email [email protected].
