Habitat for Humanity’s Partner Family Close on Purchase of Home

Door County Habitat for Humanity’s (DCHH) 42nd partner family, Paul and Kari Bright, closed on the purchase of their home Feb. 6. With the closing, they become the official owners of the home, which 77 DCHH volunteers built, logging more than 4,400 construction hours. The Brights also contributed more than 800 hours of volunteer time toward their home.The closing included Tyler Pluff of Pinkert Law Firm; Chris Loose of Lakeshore CAP; Denise Plassmeyer of Knight Barry Title Group; Lori Allen, DCHH executive director; Richard Dannhausen, DCHH board president; and Kendra Clarizio-Bilodeau, DCHH board secretary. The Brights’ mortgage payments, along with those of other partner families, will help to fund future DCHH home builds.
