Sail AnyWay Featured in Latest “Discover Wisconsin” Episode

Sail Anyway of Egg Harbor will be featured in a special episode of Discover Wisconsin, airing Dec. 5-6 across the Midwest, when the subject of accessibility takes center stage.

“Accessibility for Everyone: An All-Access Pass to Wisconsin” is guest hosted by Stephanie Klett, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. Klett worked with fellow Cabinet Secretary John Scocos from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Michael Telzrow, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Veteran’s Museum, for a look at accessibility issues facing veterans. In addition, Lambeau Field’s fan accessibility program is featured along with SailAnyway in Egg Harbor, Action TrackChair in Evansville, Lifestriders in Delafield and the Milwaukee Public Museum SPARK! Program.

“This episode captures how businesses and organizations go to great lengths to make sure that everything from a football stadium experience to sailing on Lake Michigan is accessible to everyone,” said Klett. “It was also an honor to interview Secretary Scocos and Michael Telzrow who gave me a tour of the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. I was moved by the stories of our Wisconsin veterans and the parks and memorials all over the state.”
