Salon Celebration at Peninsula School of Art

The Peninsula School of Art invites the public to attend the free festivities to close the 11th annual Guenzel Gallery Salon on Jan. 19, 6 – 9 pm.

Singer/songwriters Jess Holland and Nick Hoover will perform throughout the evening and complimentary appetizers and wine will be served. The party also includes public voting for the cash Salon People’s Choice Awards. Awards will be announced at 8 pm.

The Gallery Salon features artwork of all media and creates a colorful floor-to-ceiling display of hundreds of works. All artwork is for sale and may be taken home the night of the Salon party.

According to Kay McKinley Arneson, Director of Marketing & Exhibitions, the Salon offers a warm feeling of community on a cold winter’s night. “The Salon party is not only a celebration of art, but the kinship between artists and those who appreciate their works,” she says.

Peninsula School of Art, located at 3900 County Road F in Fish Creek, is open Monday through Saturday, 8 am – 5 pm.
