Salon Exhibition Party

Peninsula School of Art hosts party to close their Salon exhibition.

A free, public party closes the final two-week Salon exhibition at Peninsula School of Art (PenArt), 3900 County Road F, Fish Creek, on Jan. 24 from 6 – 9 pm. Hundreds of pieces of artwork on display set the stage for the festivities that include live music by Paul Sowinski and Jay Whitney of the band Big Mouth, refreshments, libations and People’s Choice Awards.

According to director of marketing and exhibitions Kay McKinley, the party and People’s Choice Awards offer a fitting tribute to the work of the participating artists.

“The Salon artists put their heart into their work,” she says. “It’s fitting that PenArt recognizes their accomplishments with a public celebration and awards.”

The Salon features the works of artists from throughout Wisconsin. Both two- and three-dimensional works are on display for sale until the end of the party on Jan. 24.
