Salvation Army Seeks Bell Ringers, Ringer Coordinator

The Salvation Army Service Extension of Door County invites community members to become an integral part of the 2021 Red Kettle Campaign by ringing a bell at local stores Nov. 19 – Dec. 24. Door County families that need emergency assistance for food, rent, utilities, and coats and gym shoes for their children returning to school will all benefit from the bell-ringing proceeds. Early ringers are especially needed.

Ringer coordinator Nancy Kexel-Calabresa and the Salvation Army are looking for a volunteer to coordinate area ringers going forward. Kexel-Calabresa has been the coordinator for many years at Main Street Market, Walgreens, Walmart, Pick ’n Save and Tadych’s Econofoods and is willing to train and coach new volunteers.

Call or text her at 920.883.7886, or email [email protected] to sign up for ringing or discuss becoming a ringer coordinator.
