Sample 45 Gourmet Dishes at Chefs for A Day

chefs for a dayThe 20th Annual Chefs for a Day event will be held on Oct. 17 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club to benefit the United Way of Door County. Doors will open at 6 pm and volunteer servers will be distributing hors d’oeuvres from 6:30 until 7:15 pm. Guests will have the opportunity to sample 45 gourmet dishes, including hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts during the evening’s event. The volunteer chefs are people from the Door County community, a few of which are: Julie Behnke form Younkers, Pam Seiler from the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, Becca Berger from the Door County Library, and Sue Anschutz from Sevastopol Schools. Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and various raffles. Tickets are $45 each and advance purchase is encouraged. For tickets, call 920.746.9645 or visit unitedwaydc.com.
