Sandra Peterson Featured at JCC

Sandra Peterson’s artwork is currently on display at Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts. Peterson, of Sturgeon Bay, created a colorful collection of acrylic, watercolor and collage works depicting Door County. Reproductions as well as original works will be displayed.

In September, Peterson’s Door County map poster is featured. The poster illustrates the county’s natural beauty along with historical events, architecture and industries. Native American symbols and European flags are depicted around the map, and Door County lighthouses serve as the border. Also depicted are a variety of boats used over the years, everything from the birch bark canoe to the Columbia Star.

Peterson’s town series will also be featured; the series includes watercolor, and pen and ink drawings of the architecture and landscape of Door County towns.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts, open daily 9 am – 5 pm, is located at 6275 Highway 57.
