Sara Mueller Receives PMF Scholarship

The Peninsula Music Festival has selected Sara Mueller, a senior at Southern Door High School, as the recipient of their college scholarship. This fall, Mueller will attend the University of Wisconsin – Platteville.

Each year the Peninsula Music Festival awards a $3,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who desires to further his or her education in music.

“This year the festival received six outstanding applications representing Washington Island, Gibraltar, Sturgeon Bay and Southern Door High Schools,” said PMF Executive Director Sharon Grutzmacher. “The choice was very tough. I know everyone involved with the selection process was very impressed!”

Mueller will be honored at the August 18 concert of the Peninsula Music Festival.
