Saturday Book Sales Return to Sturgeon Bay

The Sturgeon Bay Farmer’s Market has returned for the summer and so has the Friends of Door County Libraries Used Book Sales. Visitors to the Farmer’s Market on Saturdays can also “feed their mind” by crossing the street to visit the Used Book Sale in the basement of the Sturgeon Bay Library.

Shoppers will find a broad range of inexpensively priced reading material – categorized and alphabetized for easy browsing. So go ahead – buy that rutabaga and then hit the book sale to find a cookbook to learn what to do with it.

Proceeds from the book sales help fund around $20,000 worth of programs and materials annually to the Door County libraries.

The book sales will take place on June 16, 23, 30 and July 7 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. The library is located at 107 S. 4 Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
