Save a Life Tour Visits Southern Door High School

The Save A Life Tour – a program that shows exactly how drugs and alcohol impair driving skills – will visit Southern Door High School (SDHS). The multi-million-dollar impaired and distracted safe-driving awareness simulators that the program uses are the nation’s only simulators that give participants a completely realistic, sober perspective and experience of the devastating effects of driving while intoxicated or distracted. The program has toured the state, country and internationally.

When the tour visits SDHS, each student will have the opportunity to hear a presentation during a general assembly and participate in the simulator experience. The SDHS school resource officer and members of the Door County Sheriff’s Office will also be on hand to share information and their experiences with students.
