Save on Young-Writer Conference Through Feb. 1

Early-bird registration for Write On, Door County’s Young Author Conference will end Feb. 1. Save $25 on the conference taking place March 18-19 at Sturgeon Bay High School. Registration is available for the full conference or Saturday only.

Keynote presenters include John Coy, an award-winning author of books for young readers; Cathy Grier, an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter; and Wisconsin Poet Laureate Dasha Kelly Hamilton. Other presenters include Julialicia Case, Mauricio Kilwein Guevara, Sarah Hammond, Janet Jennerjohn, Mike Orlock, Alex Paniagua, Angie Trudell Vasquez, Liza Wiemer and others. 

The conference consists of full-group presentations, as well as small, interactive creative sessions in journalism, poetry, playwriting, writing for games, fiction and much more.
